The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will be extending its operating hours to serve more passengers, amidst the riding cost of fuel.
Starting today, 17 June 2022, from the original schedule of 8:30 p.m., the last commercial train departing from Antipolo Station will be adjusted to 9 p.m., while the last commercial train departing from Recto Station will be at 9:30 p.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced.
The move is line with the goal of the DOTr, to aid the commuting needs of the riding public by serving longer operating hours to those returning home.
Secretary Tugade said the initiative will benefit commuting workers who get stranded in returning home due to the rising cost of fuel.
