COLOR CODE ANNOUNCEMENT

CODE BLUE – Announce when the train headway is significantly affected, with long gaps between trains. This indicates that effort are underway to normalize the service.

CODE YELLOW – Announce when a train breaks down or the Train Driver reports a traction issue. The Train Driver and Mainline Technician (if available) have up to 7 minutes to address the issue.

CODE RED – Announce when a train breakdown persists beyond 8 minutes of intervention after a Code Yellow has been declared.
