The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) joins the nation in celebrating the month of  May as “Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month,” in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s. 2025.

This month-long observance aims to raise awareness, promote reforms, and foster collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and the public to enhance the ease of doing business across the country.

Led by its Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), LRTA officially kick-started the EODB Month during the flag ceremony on Monday, May 12, at the LRTA Depot in Pasig City.

The LRTA Anti-Red Tape Committee (CART) headed by Administrator Hernando Cabrera encouraged all personnel to actively participate and extend full support to ARTA-related activities.

As part of the kickoff activities, LRTA has updated its social media cover photo to feature the official EODB Month branding and is utilizing the designated hashtags across its website and digital platforms. Additionally, EODB standees and posters have been installed at the Depot and LRT-2 stations to promote awareness.

This initiative aligns with Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the EODB and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, which mandates government agencies to simplify, standardize, and automate processes to improve service delivery.
