The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) recorded a remarkable increase in the number of families taking advantage of the PAMILYA Pass 1+3 Promo on LRT Line 2.

In the second week of implementation on June 8, 2025, a total of 4,057 families benefited from the promotional fare program, with 8,127 PAMILYA Pass coupons distributed. This marks a substantial jump from the program’s launch on June 1, when 722 families availed of the promo and 1,667 coupons were issued.

The PAMILYA Pass 1+3 Promo was launched by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to offer more affordable transportation options and promote quality family time.

Families can avail of the promo by visiting any ticket booth at LRT-1, LRT-2, or MRT-3 stations every Sunday. A family member purchases a regular ticket—either a Single Journey Ticket or Beep card fare—and station personnel will issue PAMILYA Pass coupons for up to three companions traveling to the same destination. This enables families to travel together at a significantly reduced cost.

“We are delighted with this increase in families participating in the PAMILYA Pass 1+3 Promo,” said LRTA Administrator Hernando T. Cabrera. “We expect these numbers to climb even higher in the coming weeks as many families start purchasing school supplies for the new school year or seek to enjoy final bonding moments before classes resume.”

The PAMILYA Pass 1+3 Promo will continue every Sunday until June 2028, providing Filipino families with an affordable transportation option while fostering family bonding.
