Representatives from LRTA Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI), Compliance Committee and Legal Department attended the training entitled Whistleblowing and Integrity Program (WHIP) for GOCC Sector, organized by Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), in collaboration with Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG), on February 04-05, 2026, online via Zoom. This program complies to the GCG’s released Memorandum Circular (MC) 2025-01, establishing a revised Whistleblowing and Integrity Program (WHIP) for the GOCC sector to enhance transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. Mandated for all GOCCs, it provides a secure mechanism for reporting corruption, sexual harassment, and retaliation, with compliance required starting in 2026.
