A total of thirty-nine (39) personnel from the Engineering Department – Rolling Stock and Interrelated Systems Division, Maintenance Transition Team (MTT), Operations Department, and the Safety and Security Division successfully completed the Training on Re-railing Equipment Operational Procedures which as conducted on January 29–30, 2026 at the LRTA Line 2 Depot in Santolan, Pasig City.

The training was facilitated by the Human Resource Management Division in collaboration with Technical Resource Persons from the Maintenance Transition Team, namely Mr. Eric G. Perez, Mr. Romeo A. Almonte, Jr., and Mr. Juliano R. Olivares.



Conducted in compliance with the Authority’s Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) Exercise and Testing Plan, the activity aimed to strengthen LRTA’s operational readiness by ensuring the competence of officers and personnel involved in the rapid, safe, and effective re-railment of trains and other rail-borne vehicles, in support of uninterrupted train services. A simulation activity on re-railment operations was also conducted to reinforce practical application of the procedures discussed.
