The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), successfully conducted the Training on Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) and 7S on May 11, 2026, at the Social Hall, Line 2 Depot, Santolan, Pasig City. A total of forty-five (45) participants attended the activity, composed of members from the LRTA IMS OHS Management Sub-Team, OHS Audit Group, HIRAC Group, and the OHS Objectives, Implementation and Monitoring Group. The training was facilitated by Mr. Lawrence C. Malubay, LRTA OHS Consultant.

The training was conducted to develop the competencies of the members of the LRTA IMS Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team, OHS Audit Group, HIRAC Group, and other related committees/groups mentioned above, in preparation for the upcoming third-party surveillance audit for ISO 45001:2018 scheduled in June 2026. This initiative highlights LRTA’s continuing commitment to maintaining a strong Occupational Health and Safety Management System and fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within LRTA.
