The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) brought festive fun and excitement to the Line 2 Depot as it held its annual Halloween Program on October 29, 2025, spearheaded by the LRTA Employees Association (LRTA-EA). The celebration gathered LRTA employees and their children for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and treats, featuring trick-or-treat activities, a costume contest, and an office decoration competition that added fun and excitement throughout the depot.

The program began with a trick-or-treat activity around various offices, where participating departments welcomed the children with treats and surprises. Offices showcased “Dark Fairy Tale”–inspired decorations that turned offices into festive Halloween displays. The young participants, dressed in colorful and creative costumes, happily went from one office to another to show off their Halloween outfits.

LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando T. Cabrera expressed his appreciation to the LRTA-EA headed by President Plaridel N. Dela Torre for organizing the activity. He likewise acknowledged the LRTA Special Events Committee headed by Engr. Lorelie L. Reyes for their support in ensuring the success of the celebration.

The Halloween celebration once again strengthened camaraderie among employees and brought smiles to the faces of the children, making it a memorable occasion for the LRTA family.
