LRTA conducted a two-hour Safety Orientation on January 23, 2026, in compliance with Section 2.0 (General Safety and Health Program) of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Manual and in line with the Authority’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

The orientation aimed to familiarize newly hired employees and other LRTA stakeholders with the Authority’s safety policies, procedures, and protocols, which are essential in promoting workplace safety and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards across all offices.

The activity was attended by forty-three (43) newly hired personnel and On-the-Job Training students from Romblon State University and was facilitated by Chief Safety Officer Mr. Nixon F. Pagcaliwagan and his team from the Safety and Security Division.
