As part of the implementation of the LRTA Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Manual, the Safety and Security Division (SSD) conducted a Safety Orientation for On-the-Job Trainees on April 14, 2026.
The orientation was conducted in accordance with Section 2.0 of the General Safety and Health Program, particularly on Safety Training and Orientation, to ensure that on- the-job trainees are properly informed of the agency’s safety policies, health standards, and workplace safety procedures.
The two-hour activity was facilitated by Mr. Ronaldo P. Sabino, Civil Security Officer B from the Safety and Security Division and attended by eight (8) on-the-job trainees. Topics discussed during the orientation included occupational safety practices, emergency response procedures, hazard awareness and the importance of maintaining a culture of safety within the workplace.
Through this initiative, LRTA continues to uphold its commitment to providing a safe, healthy and secure working environment to on-the-job trainees.
