As part of the implementation of the LRTA Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Manual, the Safety and Security Division (SSD) conducted a Safety Orientation for Newly Hired Employees/Personnel on May 12, 2026.

The orientation was conducted in accordance with Section 2.0 of the General Safety and Health Program, particularly on Safety Training and Orientation, to ensure that newly hired employees/personnel are properly informed of the agency’s safety policies, health standards, and workplace safety procedures.

The two-hour activity was facilitated by Mr. Junbrian S. Froyalde, Senior Safety Specialist from the Safety and Security Division and attended by one (1) newly hired employee/personnel. Topics discussed during the orientation included occupational safety practices, emergency response procedures, hazard awareness and the importance of maintaining a culture of safety practices within the workplace.

Through this initiative, LRTA continues to uphold its commitment to providing a safe, healthy and secure working environment to all employees/personnel.
