The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) conducted a Tabletop Exercise Meeting on January 20, 2026 at the LRTA Board Room to discuss the implementation of its approved Public Service Continuity Plan(PSCP). The exercise focused on translating the PSCP into clear and actionable work instructions for mission critical operations during disruptions and disasters.

The tabletop exercise meeting aimed to identify mission critical areas and key personnel, and to define the specific roles of officers, offices, and units as stated in the PSCP. Discussions emphasized clarity of actions, decision points, and coordination requirements to support continuity of LRT Line 2 services.
LRTA department and division managers, together with the Secretariat of the PSCP Technical Working Group, attended the meeting. Participants reviewed PSCP provisions to ensure that actions during emergencies are clearly defined, coordinated, and responsive across offices and operational areas.

LRTA aims to complete defined actions for each identified disaster scenario that specify tasks, timelines, execution and reporting locations, collaborating offices and officers, and required resources. The Authority also plans to conduct simulations of identified disaster scenarios to further improve readiness, coordination, and operational response.
