The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) reported a total of 85,231 passengers who  availed of the free ride on LRT Line 2 on December 10, 2025.

This initiative, offered by  DOTr and LRTA in collaboration with the Commission on Human Rights, provided commuters with free rides from 7:00 to 9:00 AM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

This program reflects LRTA’s mission to enhance mobility and deliver a world-class light rail transport system that is inclusive, sensitive, and committed to service excellence.
