In April 2026, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) recorded a total of 50,295 passengers who benefited from the LRT-2 Pamilya Pass 1+3 Program. Participation remained strong across all operational Sundays covered, highlighting sustained public interest in the initiative. Notably, there was no train operation on Sunday, April 4, as it marked the final day of the Holy Week maintenance activity.
The Pamilya Pass 1+3 Program allows one paying adult to bring up to three family members or companions for free every Sunday on LRT-2.
Through programs like this, the Light Rail Transit Authority continues to introduce passenger-focused initiatives that support affordable travel, promote family bonding, and encourage greater use of public transportation.
To avail of the Pamilya Pass, passengers may visit any ticket booth at LRT-1, LRT-2, or MRT-3 stations every Sunday. By purchasing a regular ticket, they will receive Pamilya Pass coupons that allow up to three companions to travel together to the same destination at no additional cost.
