As part of its continuing commitment to workplace safety and health, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) successfully conducted the 1st Quarter schedules of the Mandatory Eight (8) Hour Safety and Health (MESH) Training on March 10, 18, and 31, 2026, at the LRTA Line 2 Depot, Santolan, Pasig City.This activity serves as a continuation of the CY 2025 MESH Training, reinforcing LRTA’s ongoing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program. The training aims to further strengthen the awareness, knowledge, and competencies of Engineering and Maintenance Transition Team (MTT) personnel in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.



A total of fifty (50) MTT personnel successfully completed the 8-hour training sessions. The program was facilitated by resource persons from the Safety and Security Division, led by Chief Safety Officer Mr. Nixon F. Pagcaliwagan, together with Safety Specialists Engr. Junbrian S. Froyalde, Mr. Jose Raymund M. Alsisto, and Mr. Agustino I. Alfeche.
Through this continued initiative, LRTA reaffirms its commitment to promoting a strong culture of safety, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent workplace hazards and respond effectively to emergencies.
