In observance of the 84th anniversary of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will offer free rides to all passengers of LRT-2 on April 9, 2026.

LRTA is offering free rides in commemoration of the bravery, sacrifice, and heroism of Filipino veterans who fought for the country’s freedom. The authority joins the nation in honoring their legacy of courage and patriotism.

Free rides will be available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the free ride and join in remembering this significant moment in Philippine history.
