The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) proudly announces the successful issuance of a certification from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) confirming that LRTA has fully settled and remitted the mandatory GSIS premium contributions of its officials and employees for Calendar Year (CY) 2024.

This achievement reflects LRTA’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling its obligations and ensuring the continuous protection and welfare of its workforce through timely compliance with statutory contributions. It is the result of the collective dedication, hard work, and close coordination among the Administrative Department, Office of the Corporate Secretary, Human Resource Management Division, Finance Department, Accounting Division, and the Budgeting and Financial Planning Division.

While this milestone marks the successful completion of CY 2024 requirements, efforts are already underway to address and process the corresponding GSIS premium contributions for CY 2025. Through the continued collaboration of the concerned departments and divisions, LRTA remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the prompt and accurate settlement of all mandatory government obligations.

LRTA likewise extends its heartfelt appreciation to the LRT Employees’ Association for its proactive initiative and steadfast support throughout the process. Their willingness to advance funds, when necessary, to help expedite the settlement of pending premium contributions demonstrates an exceptional spirit of solidarity, partnership, and shared responsibility. This remarkable gesture underscores the collective commitment of both management and employees toward safeguarding the welfare, benefits, and financial security of the entire LRTA workforce.

This accomplishment is a testament to the power of collaboration and a shared commitment to public service. It highlights how different offices, working together toward a common goal, can overcome challenges and deliver meaningful results that directly benefit employees.

As LRTA moves forward, the organization remains committed to strengthening financial stewardship, maintaining regulatory compliance, and advancing initiatives that promote the well-being of its employees, who continue to be at the heart of its mission and service excellence.
