The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) during the Stakeholders’ Appreciation Night held last 24 October 2025 at the Ballroom A, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center, Quezon City.

The award recognizes LRTA’s partnership, commitment, and support in championing the rights and welfare of Filipino consumers through various advocacy initiatives.

The event served as DTI’s expression of gratitude to partner agencies and organizations that have actively supported its consumer welfare and protection programs. As a key provider of public transportation services, LRTA remains steadfast in promoting the rights and welfare of the riding public through safe,
reliable, and people-centered transport services.
