The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) joined the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) 50th Annual National Convention held from November 24 to 29, 2025. LRTA engineers attended technical sessions and industry discussions in support of continuous professional development.

The convention marked IIEE’s 50 years of service to the electrical engineering profession, featuring technical seminars, industry forums, and the 3rd Exposition 2025. The convention showcased new technologies and best practices aligned with continuing processional requirements under the Professional Regulation Commission.

LRTA remains committed to strengthening its technical capabilities by ensuring its engineers stay informed about industry developments. The knowledge and insights gained from the convention will support ongoing initiatives to enhance system reliability, passenger safety, and operational efficiency.
