The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, conducted a Seminar-Workshop on Enhancement and Finalization of LRTA’s Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda on April 10 & 17, 2026. The activity was held virtually via the zoom platform, providing an accessible and collaborative environment for participants.


A total of 23 GAD members participated in the workshop, comprising of 6 male and 17 female attendees.

The seminar-workshop was enriched by the expertise of Dr. Rowena S, Navera, who served as the resource speaker. Through her insightful discussions and guidance, participants gained a deeper understanding of gender/mainseaming principles and practical strategies for strengthening LRTA’s GAD framework and initiatives.


The activity undersrores LRTA’s continuing commitment to promoting an inclusive, equitable, and gender responsive workplace, while advancing programs and policies that support gender equality and empower all empboyees.
