The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, conducted an LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity Training on 20 June 2025, at the Social Hall, Line 2 Depot, Santolan, Pasig City, participated by 37 participants, (male: 16, female: 21)


The training aimed to promote a deeper understanding of sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression and foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and non-discrimination in the workplace. A total of 37 participants (21 female and 16 male) from the LRTA GAD-FPS-TWG and other personnel, were oriented on key gender concepts and importance of creating safe space and inclusive spaces for all employees and commuters.


The initiative reflects the LRTA’s continuing commitment to advancing gender equality and strengthening inclusive workplace practices.
