The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) conducted an accessibility inspection on December 5 to ensure that facilities intended for Persons With Disabilities are safe, functional, and properly maintained across LRT Line 2 stations.

The inspection was led by Mobility, Inclusivity, and Accessibility Committee Chairperson Angelica Fe D. Delas Alas, who visited various stations to check compliance with Batas Pambansa Blg. 344 or the Accessibility Law. The review covered the condition of elevators, escalators, PWD ramps, restrooms, designated seating, and other accessibility features.

The activity supports the LRTA’s continuing efforts to advance an inclusive and accessible public transport system that allows safe, orderly, and equitable travel for all passengers.
