
The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) recorded a total of 58,754,981 passengers served by LRT Line 2 in 2025, underscoring continued public trust in the line as a safe and reliable mode of daily transportation.
As part of its participation in various national and special occasions, LRT Line 2 provided free ride programs on a total of 130 days throughout the year, benefiting 3,007,722 passengers and helping ease the daily commutes of Filipinos.
October 2025 recorded the highest monthly ridership at 5,846,957 passengers, reflecting the sustained preference of commuters for LRT Line 2 for efficient and dependable travel.
“We thank our passengers for their continued support for LRT Line 2. We remain committed to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service,” said LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera.
