The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will temporarily suspend its train operations this Holy Week from April 2 (Maundy Thursday) to April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday), to give way to the railway’s annual maintenance activities.
This annual maintenance is part of LRT-2’s ongoing commitment to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of its services for all passengers.
During the suspension period, maintenance teams will conduct comprehensive inspections and repairs on various components of the railway system, including trains, tracks, power supply, and other critical facilities.
On April 1, 2026 (Holy Wednesday), LRT-2 will continue to operate under its regular schedule.
Regular train operations will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).
Passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance and consider alternative transportation options during the temporary service suspension.
LRT-2 appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as it undertakes these essential maintenance works to provide safer and more reliable rail services.
