In observance of Labor Day on May 1, 2026, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will provide free rides to all working passengers on LRT Line 2.

“This initiative serves as a simple gesture of appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of Filipino workers. We hope this small act helps express our sincere gratitude for the vital role they play in our communities and in the nation,” said LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera.
