A total of forty (40) personnel from the LRTA Frontline Service and Finance Department participated in the Know Your Money (KYM) Training Course conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), through its Currency Policy and Integrity Department (CPID), from July 15 to 31, 2026, via the BSP E-Learning Academy (BELA).
The BELA-KYM Training Course is a comprehensive, modular learning program designed to equip cash handlers with the knowledge and skills to determine the authenticity and fitness for circulation of Philippine banknotes and coins. The course also covers relevant laws and regulations, BSP policies, and programs aimed at preserving the integrity of Philippine currency.

Delivered through a self-paced online modality requiring approximately five (5) training hours, the course enhanced participants’ awareness and competence in proper currency examination and cash handling. The knowledge gained is particularly relevant to personnel involved in frontline and financial transactions, helping promote the proper handling and safeguarding of Philippine currency.
Through this initiative, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) continues to strengthen the capabilities of its personnel and promote safe, responsible, and efficient cash-handling practices, in support of the Agency’s commitment to quality, integrity, and accountable public service.
