In preparation for the upcoming 3rd Party Surveillance Audit this June 2026, the LRTA conducted the ISO 45001 Internal Audit Training on April 13, 2026.

The 8-hour training was attended by fourteen (14) members of the Integrated Management System (IMS) Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Sub-Team and Audit Group, and was facilitated by Mr. Lawrence C. Malubay, LRTA OSH Consultant.

The activity strengthened the IMS OSH Audit Group’s capability to conduct effective internal audits in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 19011 guidelines, thereby supporting LRTA’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) implementation across LRTA.

This initiative reinforces LRTA’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its personnel and passengers, while continuously improving its systems in line with international standards.
