In preparation for the upcoming third-party surveillance audit for ISO 45001:2018  and as part of the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS) Core Team, the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), in coordination with Mr. Lawrence C. Malubay, LRTA Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Consultant, conducted the first batch of the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) Training on July 29, 2026.

The first batch was attended by 196 personnel from various LRTA offices and equipped them with the knowledge and skills to identify workplace hazards, assess associated risks, and implement appropriate control measures. The HIRAC Training will be conducted in several batches to ensure that all LRTA personnel are provided with the necessary competencies to support the Authority’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System and foster a safer and healthier workplace.
