In line with its commitment to operational excellence and passenger safety, four (4) Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) personnel participated in the 8th batch of the Capacity Development Training (CDT) Course on Philippine Railways Safety Guidelines held on March 17–19, 2026 at the PRI Training Room in Mandaluyong City.

The three-day program aimed to enhance the competencies of railway professionals in upholding nationally aligned safety standards and best practices. Through this training, LRTA participants gained deeper insights into the Philippine Railways Safety Guidelines, strengthening their ability to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations within LRT Line 2.

This initiative forms part of LRTA’s continuing efforts to develop a highly competent workforce and to foster a strong safety culture across all its systems and operations. By investing in capacity development, the Authority reinforces its role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both passengers and personnel while contributing to the advancement of the country’s railway sector.
