As part of its continuing commitment to workplace safety and in compliance with the LRTA Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Manual, forty-one (41) frontline service personnel successfully completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid (SFA) Training on February 5–6, 2026 at the Social Hall, LRTA Line 2 Depot, Santolan, Pasig City.

The training, facilitated by the Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), equipped participants with essential life-saving skills, including recognizing medical emergencies, administering immediate first aid, performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and properly using Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

Through hands-on demonstrations and simulations, personnel strengthened their capability to respond effectively to emergencies, stabilize victims, and provide critical assistance until professional medical help arrives.

This initiative reinforces LRTA’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for both the riding public and its employees.
