Four members of Alas Pilipinas Women joined a special LRT-2 promotional ride on Tuesday, August 12,  to help promote the FIVB 2025 Men’s World Championship.

LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera, Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) President Ramon “Tats” Suzara, and Head Coach Jorge De Brito accompanied national team players Jia De Guzman, Dawn Catindig, Alleiah Malaluan and Vanie Gandler on the championship-themed train from Recto to Santolan. Mascot BenTren also jumped aboard, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Administrator Cabrera said the activity is part of LRTA’s effort to bring the tournament’s excitement closer to the public, emphasizing that LRT-2 is more than a transit system—it can also be a platform that inspires and unites Filipinos.

The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship will take place from September 12 to 28 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and Smart Araneta Coliseum. Through its partnership with the PNVF, LRTA aims to keep the tournament’s energy rolling across the city’s rail network.
