As part of its continuing efforts to enhance operational readiness and strengthen employee competencies, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Refresher Course for Station Operations Division (SOD) Personnel on May 26 and 28, 2026, via Zoom. A total of 143 personnel participated in the training.
The refresher course covered key operational, quality management, occupational health and safety, and human resource-related updates, including recent passenger feedback, internal audit observations, and the LRTA Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) protocols under Code Red, Code Yellow, and Code Blue.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Gil Carlos J. Monteclaro, Officer-in-Charge of the Station Operations Division, who served as the resource speaker for the activity.
This undertaking forms part of LRTA’s commitment to the continuous development of its workforce and supports compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). It also serves as a venue for cascading updated policies, procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines to all concerned personnel.
