The Light Rail Transit Authority’s Train Operations Division (TOD), in coordination with the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), successfully conducted a 4-hour Refresher Course, attended by eighty-nine (89) TOD personnel.
The course encompassed critical topics under the LRTA Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) Exercise and Testing Plan, which are essential to ensuring safe and efficient train operations, including:
- Awareness of the approved LRTA Public Service Continuity Plan
- Emergency procedures in case of fire inside the train
- Emergency procedures during earthquakes
The Refresher Course is conducted on a bi-monthly basis (six times a year) as part of LRTA’s continuing efforts to strengthen employee competencies. This initiative supports compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and ensures the effective dissemination of ISO-related procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and policies to all concerned TOD personnel.
