Line 1 Modernization Phase II-Project Modernization and Upgrading of Existing BN ACEC LRVs
Objective
To fully modernize the 32 LRV's of Phase
I by replacing the old contactors, refurbish relay panel and
miniature circuit breakers, and cleaning the chopper box, and also
to modernize the remaining yet to be rehabilitated 31 LRV's that
were not covered by the initial phase of the modernization program,
procure additional spare parts in order to ensure the lifetime of
the rolling stock for another 15 years and guarantee the income
stream of LRTA.
