The Light Rail Transit Authority
has already firmed up its operation plan for the coming All Saint?s and All
Soul?s Day on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
Security will remain tight as
security personnel will continue to implement the ?no inspection, no entry?
policy in all stations.
Passengers are requested not to
take forbidden items inside the stations and on board the trains, including
deadly weapons, sharp and pointed objects, paint, gasoline, and large bags
that exceed the 2 ft. x 2 ft. limit, to ensure public safety.
Passengers found to be under the
influence of liquor shall not be allowed to enter the stations to prevent
possible trouble and misunderstandings.
The LRTA management has also
coordinated with the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the deployment of
additional rail policemen at Abad Santos, R. Papa and Blumentritt Stations,
where passenger influx is expected to be heavy.
Medical and Public Relations
personnel were also directed to establish a Medical and Public Assistance
Desk at R. Papa Station, which is the over-all center of operations for the
said activities.
