The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) recently accepted a PhP 200 Million grant from SM Prime Holdings, (SMPHI) to partially finance the construction of the common station interconnecting the respective rail systems of the LRTA , the Metrorail Transit Corporation and the Universal LRT Corporation (MRT7) in front of SM City North EDSA. Present during the turnover ceremony are (L-R) Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) Undersecretary for Maritime Transportation Thompson Lantion, LRTA Administrator Melquiades A. Robles, DOTC Secretary Leandro R. Mendoza, SMPHI Director Henry Sy Jr. and SMPHI Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer Jeffrey C. Lim.
