The Light Rail Transit (LRT) Authority announced its operating schedules in
observance of the upcoming Holy Week.
Both Lines will be closed from 8:00 p.m. of Holy Wednesday, April 20 until
April 24, Easter Sunday to give way for the annual maintenance work.
"We'll be suspending our commercial trip starting 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
April 20 in observance of the annual Holy Week and to pave way for the
maintenance schedules of the two lines," said Lawyer Rafael S. Rodriguez,
LRTA administrator.
He announced that the two train systems will resume normal operations on
April 25, Monday at 5:00 a.m.
Line 1 runs from Baclaran station in Pasay City to Roosevelt station in
Muņoz while Line 2 stretches from Recto in Manila to Santolan in Pasig City.
