Simula ika-21 ng Agosto 2015, ang LRT-Line 2 ay hindi na magbebenta ng Magnetic Single Journey Ticket bilang paghahanda sa kabuuang implementasyon ng Contactless Ticketing System.

PARA SA MGA PASAHERONG SENIOR CITIZEN AT MAY KAPANSANAN

Simula ika-19 ng Agosto 205, maaari po kayong mag-apply ng Registered Concessionary cards sa lahat ng istasyon ng LRT-2.

Sundin ang mga sumusunod na proseso:

  • Magtungo sa Passenger Assistance Office at magtala sa pamamagatin ng pg fill-up ng Application Form.
  • Ipasa ang filled up form kasama ang Persons with Disabilities (PWD) ID o anumang government issued ID na magpapatunay na may kapansanan, Senior Citizen ID o anumang dokumento na magpapatunay ng edad.
  • Magbayad ng P20 na Card Fee
  • Kunin ang clain stub
  • Kunin ang Concessionary Card pagkalipas ng pitong araw (7) sa piniling istasyon.

PAUNAWA

Ang BEEP CARDS ay maari lamang bilhin at gamitin sa LRT-Line 1 Southbound (Roosevelt-Baclaran) habang Ticket Coupon naman ang pansamantalang ginagamit sa Northbound(Baclaran-Roosevelt).

Para sa mga may hawak pa ng MAGNETIC STORED VALUE TICKETS, maaari ninyong ipalipat o ipalit ang natitirang halaga ng inyong ticket sa BEEP CARD sa mga istasyon ng CENTRAL, BALINTAWAK AT ROOSEVELT.

LRT-1 to Begin Public Trial of new AFCS on August 16th

AF Payments Inc. and LRTA are pleased to announce that the start of a Public Trial on the Southbound direction of LRT-1 on August 16. “The positive results of the trial at LRT-2 give us and the LRTA the confidence to implement a similar public trial on the Southbound direction of LRT-1” says AF Payments Inc. CEO, Peter Maher.

For LRT-1, the southbound direction of all 20 stations (from Roosevelt to Baclaran) will be ready to sell and re-load beepTM SVCs as well as the new Single Journey Tickets (SJT) and have gates tat accept the new contactless cards beginning Sunday, August 16.

Ahead of the Public Trial on August 16, AF Payments Inc. is conducting selling activities for free-loaded beepTM cards from August 10 to 14 at 7 LRT-1 stations {Roosevelt, Doroteo Jose, Central, Edsa, Gil Puyat, Monumento, and Baclaran} where beepTM cards can be purchased at P100 (with P80 load) from beepTM promo personnel in the stations. On August 10 and 11, almost 15,000 cards were purchased by commuters.

We encourage commuters who regularly use LRT-1 and are interested in trying out the new system to purchase their beepTM cards during the pre-selling period so they don’t have to line up to buy their cards on August 16”. He added, “During the first week of the Public Trial, passengers should allow more time to purchase their ticket as the riding public familiarizes itself with the new system. AF Payment Inc. will continue to support the LRTA’s selling activity during the Public Trial Pre-loaded beepTM cards will also be available for purchase beginning August 17 at the following location: Unibersidad de Manila, Philippine Normal University, Technical University of the Philippines, Masagana Building and Victory Mall.”

“We hope to minimize any inconvenience to the public during trial and transition to the new system on LRT-1 (Southbound) which is planned to be completed within a matter of weeks. We appreciate the public’s patience during this period”, added Maher.

Consumers who purchased a beepTM card in LRT-2 may also start using it in LRT-1 (Southbound direction only) beginning August 16.

Last week, LRTA announced that it will stop selling magnetic cards for LRT-1 stations beginning August 8. Holders of the magnetic stored value cards may get a cash refund for the remaining value of their cards in all LRT-1 station Teller’s Booths from August 8-15.

“After August 15, cash refund will no longer be accommodated. However, any unused credit in an old magnetic SVC may be transferred to the new beepTM card beginning August 16. This may only be done in the LRT-1 Central Station Teller’s Booth,” says LRTA spokesperson Atty. Cabrera.


ANNOUNCEMENT

In national observance of the "Araw ng Kagitingan" and the "Philippine Veterans Week", all FILIPINO VETERANS may avail of FREE RIDES at LRT Lines 1 & 2 on April 7 - 11, 2015 from 5:00 AM up to the end of revenue service. NOTE: Only bonafide Filipino Veterans with valid Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) or Veteran ID cards and their aide (ONLY 1 CAREGIVER PER Filipino Veteran) shall be allowed to avail the free ride. The "NO ID, NO FREE RIDE" rule will apply.

 Ang LRTA ay magpapatupad ng "PASSENGER LIMIT PER PLATFORM" para malimitahan ang bilang ng mga pasahero sa platform paid area ng mga istasyon mula Roosevelt hanggang
  D. Jose station sa pagitan ng alas-6 hanggang alas-10 ng umaga at mula Baclaran hanggang Carriedo station sa pagitan ng alas-4 hanggang alas-8 ng gabi. Ito ay upang matiyak ang inyong ligtas at maayos na paglalakbay at makasakay ng tren sa loob ng 4-5 minuto pagkarating sa platform paid area.

 Sa kadahilanang lubhang napakaraming pasahero sa bawat istasyon at para po sa inyong seguridad, kami po ay nagpapatupad ng "crowd control". Inaasahan po ang pagkaantala sa inyong pagsakay sa tren. Hinihingi po namin ang inyong lubos na pang-unawa.
